A New Global Rosary Rally for Priests in 2012!

Rosary for Priests San Francisco recommends everybody join in the Annual Global Rosary Relay to pray the Rosary for priests.   On Friday June 15, the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, participants at sixty shrines worldwide, as well as in their own parishes and homes, will pray together for our priests.

Each shrine will pray a particular mystery of the Rosary at a particular half hour on the day in thanksgiving to God for our priests and to implore the protection and loving care of Our Lady, Mother of all priests, for all her priestly sons. With the coming of midnight on the 15th June 2012, the entire world, by then, will have been encircled in prayer for our priests on this The Annual Rosary Relay Day.

We can’t take credit for this great project, in fact we only learned about it recently, but it ties in with our original theme of commemorating the Year for Priests in 2010, and praying for all priests annually on the Feast of the Sacred Heart.   We pray that millions will pray together on the first Rosary Rally, and that our Lord and his Blessed Mother will continue to strengthen and bless our beloved priests and bishops.

In 2010, the first Rosary for Priests prayer gatherings took place on June 19, 2010 in San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Sacramento, Ontario, Canada, New York, Massachusetts and other places.   Thank you for your prayerful support, and please continue to pray for our priests!
